Scheduled recording is now available for iPhone & iPad – either via EPG (by touching “Add Recording”) or manual (by selecting the channel and editing title and start / end time).
Now we have included scheduled recordings – either via EPG (if XMLTV is setup in the server) or manual.
Adding scheduled recordings in the EPG display of the client is very comfortable: in the detailed info of a single entry (after selecting an entry), “Add Recording” can be pressed to add the entry to the recordings. Or “Remove Recording” to delete the recording.
If a scheduled recording exits for an EPG entry, then the title is displayed in red color.
nessEyeTV has been renamed to finessTV.
We used this “relaunch” for some improvements as well – the internal communication between server and client has been changed:
If new live stream data is not available after a channel switch (because EyeTV kills the “VLC EyeTV Plugin”), then the server / client connection is not removed – instead the client shows the message “live stream stopped” and (as soon as VLC has new live stream data) the live playback is restarted.

EPG is now available for iPhone & iPad clients if XMLTV is set up in the server. Interested users can now beta test this app via TestFlight.
The EPG data is used in the live channel list and after clicking “EPG”.
